Chic Adventures with a Cute White Bear
This fabulous set features sixteen adorable, simple-line illustrations of Nagano’s iconic white bear, Kuma, rocking Prada-themed accessories and exploring Ginza. Let’s look at each of these stylish little masterpieces.
Row One: High-Fashion Entrances
The first sticker shows the bear squeezing a large pink heart reading PRADA MILANO with the Japanese text gyu…, meaning a tight hug. Next, our bear gets theatrical, sporting a slicked-back black wig and dramatic kabuki-style red eyes. In the third image, the bear dashes forward in an orange Prada shirt with the sound effect da…, representing a fast run. Closing out the first row, the bear pops out of a sleek black Prada gift box wearing a tiny hat, saying medeta~i, which translates to a cheerful congratulations.
Row Two: Styling Around Town
Starting the second row, the bear bows politely while wearing a blue bucket hat and a black polo, accompanied by the word pekori, meaning a polite bow. Next, the bear sits on a giant caramel pudding boat with a spoon, expressing deep gratitude with the words kansha!!. Then, the bear waves goodbye with a stylish blue backpack, saying dewa, meaning well then. The last sticker in this row has the bear peeking playfully from behind a Ginza streetlamp with the text chirari, which means peeking.
Row Three: Cozy Daily Routines
The third row kicks off with the bear popping out of buttered toast next to a hot cup of coffee, wishing you ohayou, or good morning. Next, the bear wears a lion’s mane made of pastry, roaring a funny gaa. In the third slot, the bear sleeps peacefully under a pink blanket surrounded by floating sushi, wishing you oyasumi, or good night. The row finishes with the bear sitting under a green patio umbrella with a tiny friend, saying harō, which is the Japanese phonetic way of saying hello.
Row Four: Sparkling Celebrations
The final row begins with the bear jumping for joy amid pink sparkles, expressing pure happiness. Next, the bear wears a beautiful pink kimono, chuckling politely with the phrase ohoho. The third image features the bear nodding in agreement with un un while enjoying tea and strawberry cake. Finally, the bear shakes pink pom-poms in an energetic, happy dance to celebrate your daily victories.
