Double the Cute with Shibanban and the Poinko Brothers
Decoding the Adorable Sixteen Sticker Lineup
The first row kicks off with high-energy vibes. A grey Shiba dog gives an enthusiastic thumbs-up while clutching a giant gold coin, accompanied by a cheering yellow pup and the Japanese text gu, which means good or awesome. Next, a trio of dogs climbs a giant red OK sign. Sweet hearts fly in the third sticker where a crowd of dogs surrounds a yellow Poinko bird. Finally, a cute vertical dog stack bows politely with the Japanese word pekori, representing a cute bowing sound.
Row two brings warm feelings. A yellow Shiba hugs a giant red heart with a puppy friend on its back, underneath the Japanese word arigatou, meaning thank you. Next, Poinko holds a dog clutching a blue popsicle under a pink bubble saying otsukaresama desu, which translates to thank you for your hard work. The third features Poinko and a dog doing morning stretches next to a red boombox, complete with the morning greeting ohayou. The row ends with a happy, solo yellow Shiba dog waving warmly.
Row three plays with fun emotions. We see a split-panel comic showing silent anticipation, represented by simple dots, followed by shocked faces and exclamation marks. Beside it, a white dog celebrates behind columns of gold coins with the text yoroshiku onegaishimasu, a polite request meaning please be kind to me. A teary-eyed Shiba cries in a blue rainstorm with the text uru uru, mimicking watery eyes. Finally, a black Shiba sleeps snugly in bed with Poinko under the goodnight greeting oyasumi.
The final row brings chaotic humor. A dog and Poinko spin wildly in a blue vortex with the shocked sound effect gaan. Next, a yellow Shiba gets its ear playfully pulled by a puppy with the greeting ooi, meaning hey, and guii, representing a pulling sound. The third sticker shows a crowded wall of cute Poinko birds squeezed together with a Shiba. Lastly, a tired pup rests on a cooling mat under cold air, saying atsu sugiru soto ni ippo mo detakunai, meaning it is too hot and I do not want to take a single step outside.
