Meeting the Sun-Loving Mascot and His Friends
Who is Rakyim?
The star of the show is Rakyim, a friendly character with a bright blue head shaped like a cloud or a smile. In Thai, the name combines the word Rak, meaning love, and Yim, meaning smile. He represents warmth, safety, and approachable care, making him a welcome sight in any conversation.
A Row-by-Row Tour of the Summer Fun
This vibrant collection features sixteen individual designs arranged in rows of four, each capturing a different side of a tropical holiday.
Row One: Chilled Greetings and Hot Days
The first sticker shows Rakyim waving happily with the Thai greeting Sawasdee, which translates to a friendly hello. Next to him, the second sticker captures him holding a water gun with the text Sawasdee Pee Mai, meaning Happy New Year in Thai, a nod to the mid-April water festival. The third sticker features him blissfully munching on a giant slice of watermelon, while the fourth shows him sweating under a cartoon sun with the Thai word Ron, meaning hot.
Row Two: Relaxing and Staying Strong
In the second row, the fifth sticker shows our blue-headed friend floating calmly on a blue inner tube in clear water. The sixth has him waving while wearing a colorful floral lei around his neck. The seventh sticker features him pointing encouragingly with the text Su Su, a common Thai phrase meaning keep fighting or hang in there. The eighth sticker shows Rakyim sharing a fresh coconut drink with a buddy using two straws.
Row Three: Beachside Antics
The ninth sticker depicts Rakyim holding a giant pink heart decorated with a summer floral pattern. In the tenth, he runs energetically along the sand with a beach ball. The eleventh sticker captures him looking shocked from a sudden splash of cold water. In the twelfth sticker, he is seen taking a peaceful nap under a beach umbrella with a straw hat covering his face.
Row Four: Cool Drinks and Sweet Goodbyes
The thirteenth sticker features a slightly sunburnt Rakyim giving a cheerful thumbs up. The fourteenth shows him holding a glass of iced herbal drink alongside the text Chuen Jai, which means refreshing in Thai. In the fifteenth, he dances happily in a hula skirt. Finally, the sixteenth sticker shows him packing a suitcase, ready to travel.
