Meet the Weird and Wonderful Cast of Kobitos

Let us dive into this wild lineup of twenty-four unique stickers, arranged in perfect rows of four. These little guys have so much personality, you will not know which one to send first!

Row 1: The Peachy Crew

First up is Kakure-Momojiri, the infamous peach-faced creature. We start with him popping out of a giant peach under the Japanese word , which means celebration or congratulations. Next, he crawls forward with a sweet Thank You message. Then, he is seen giggling and hugging a peach with the Japanese text うふ, meaning a cute chuckle. The row wraps up with a hilarious rear view of his peach-shaped backside bouncing next to a blue music note.

Row 2: Bugging Out

Row two kicks off with two blue-hooded figures facing each other, while a red one jumps excitedly. Next, a cow-patterned creature with a pink box on its head looks utterly confused by swirling question marks. In the third sticker, a yellow winged character dines on seeds next to two white birds. Finally, a blue-hooded character rides a giant brown cockroach like a true champion.

Row 3: Forest Antics

Starting row three, a green-bodied flower character hoists another up in the air. Next, an adorable squirrel nibbles an acorn right beside a curious root-like creature under a pink heart. After that, two mushroom-headed friends soak in a hot clay pot with steam rising above them. Finishing the row, a yellow character with red wings flies alongside two white birds.

Row 4: Playful and Panic-Stricken

Row four starts with a cute red bug-like creature peeking from a wall saying Hi!. Next is a grey stone-like character looking utterly shocked with open palms. Then, a brown peanut-like figure huddles in the rain next to a giant strawberry. The row ends with a green lizard-like creature crawling forward on all fours.

Row 5: Garden Grooves

Row five brings the drama. First, two pink-flower-headed characters emerge happily from a fluffy cloud. Next, a green-bodied character tears right through the screen with the dramatic Japanese sound effect ガン, which represents a heavy slam or impact. Then, a long-hooded green creature trembles in pure shock. Finally, we see three tiny green faces smiling inside a cozy green pea pod.

Row 6: Sleepy Slumber and Silly Celebrations

The final row opens with four blue characters stacked behind a glass pane. Next, a tiny creature takes a nap on a sleeping black-and-white cat, complete with a ZZZ… caption. Then, a green-bodied, pink-flower-headed character cheekily farts out a puff of grey gas. We finish with a grand party of various Kobitos dancing joyfully amid sparkles.

The Minds Behind the Magic

These delightfully strange characters are copyrighted by Toshitaka Nabata, the brilliant artist who originally created the Kobito Dukan universe. Sony Digital Entertainment brings these creatures to life by translating Nabata’s wonderfully eccentric illustrations into highly engaging digital stickers. It is a fantastic partnership that captures the essence of Japanese kimo-kawaii culture—a perfect blend of creepy and cute that makes your chats unforgettable.
